Yesterday I was over at my friend Susan's for a dish of her kick ass linguini and clams (perhaps she'll read this, and post the excellent recipe?), and I told her I was planning on building a bookcase.
"Cool!" she says. "Do you want to borrow my router?"
No, actually, I bought a cool new plunge router at the HD yesterday. Today, I whipped it out and built a new 8-foot bookcase for the backroom.
I'm OK but severely out of shape, and I'm rarely in New Orleans on the weekend anymore. You would give me such an a**-whooping that I could never live it down...but seriously, I am trying to get back into shape, so maybe one day this summer, when I am in town-THE MATCH OF THE CENTURY.!..Sandyman
Plunge router's pretty handy to have around, as is the cool construction-girl girlfriend.
ReplyDeletevery nice. while I am there you can show me what a plunger router is and how to use it. I want to build a bookcase into the wall in my new office.
ReplyDeleteNo Problem! I have another bookcase to build -- we'll make it together. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I signed us up for whale watching on Friday morning. And a fancy lunch on Sunday. So I guess we'll build on Saturday. Sweet!

I can't wait. Is there anything you would like me to bring from NO?
ReplyDeleteum, yes? a couple pounds of boiled crawfish, a couple of muffelata's from Napoleon house ... oh, never mind! I'll be there soon enough. :)
ReplyDeleteVery good bookcase. You can never have enough bookcases (or books)...Sandyman
ReplyDeletehey Sandyman, how are you? when will you be ready to play tennis?
