Mark in San Fran

I keep telling you, baby, that's not a streetcar. It's a cable car. Big difference.

This was the California Street line, which terminates a block from Van Ness and just about four blocks from our hotel. We took the cable car to Powell, thinking we'd transfer to the other line down to Fisherman's Wharf, but all those cars were jammed and there was a long line at the corner, so we walked down the hill instead.

Fun trip.
