Lawyering up

We spent a depressing afternoon yesterday meeting with not one but two lawyers -- one to help us prepare wills, durable powers of attorney and other documents you start thinking about during a health crisis; and the other to talk about the ins and outs of disability insurance, Social Security and the pros and cons of trying to work again. All in all, it's more fun to not be sick.

The will lady seemed pretty good. The other guy knew enough to make me think I need a disability lawyer, but not enough to get the gig.
