What a full day we had -- we started out dancing in the snow. Then the Bailey Family walked by, and it turns out it was Bailey's ninth birthday, and on top of that, she's having her first ever sleepover tonite. Plus which, she wished that it would snow on her birthday, and then it did! It just so turned out that I happened to have a Sleepover Kit in my car, so I gave it to her for her birthday. Wow, was she ever happy.
Then we walked on down to the junction and hit up the cupcake store. Then, onto the antique store for a hat purchase. Then home again, home again, for delish home made pizza. Pretty good day. Here's the replay.

I love this slide show. Good photos, baby.
what beautiful photographs. thank you. you have a really good eye. It is great to see you all and the snow is so pretty.
First-class photographer you!
You guys know how to enjoy life.
Thanks Michelle.
nice!
Wow, I hadn't signed on for a day or two and tons of posts! I love the snow, we had cold rain. The worst! I've been busy doing all sorts of holiday decorating, I love christmas trees. It's way early for me, but I'm having rotary cuff surgery on Friday and will be down to one arm. I'm the only person in the house who not only will put lights on a tree but actually likes it. Can't do it one armed, though.
Man, I wish I could be there to help you with the tinsel!
Rotator cuff -- yike! Is it your fly-casting arm or the other one?
Good luck with the surgery, Janice.
it's my left arm, not my fishing hand. But I'll be in a sling which does not bode well for wading. I crashed on my bike last June and broke my scapula and dislocated the a-c joint. I was in a sling for 5 and half weeks! got out of that, started rehab, after about a month I didn't get any better. Ends up I tore my cuff in the same accident.
you're a good photographer,
that was fun day :]
can you send me some of the pictures from that day please?
hey Michelle, I was remembering the year you came to Rockville for Christmas, you were so anxious to see snow, do you still like it?
Snow is cool. I've been where it can snow for about 20 years now, and it's still cool.
Whoa ... Janice, sorry to hear about your one-armed Christmas! Damn, action girl -- have a safe surgery and heal up.
Michelle: tinsel. heh.
Also, I am sure you will all agree, the Driftwood photo editor never lost her chops.
