Wham. I can't believe Kaye just rushed right out and bought an iPhone without any warm-up angst or anything, and then announced it with such a cool post on the newly resuscitated NiteNote.
Like she says in a comment on her own post, I'll have more to say about my iPhone "when I can tear myself way from it long enough to form a thought other than - ooooooooo or aaaahhhhhh or wowee!"

wowee! look at that beautifully self-referential photo -- possible only now because of our unabashed tech whore-ry.
Impressive return play -- what else would you expect from M&M!
(blog + us = fun!)
Me thinks I smell another Iphone purchase in the air.
awesome. I love that headline. It looked awesome in my Google Reader!
OK, it looks cool, but how much is the cost of actually using it? As a phone? as a computer?
HI Freda -- in our case, our wireless bill will go up $30/month over our crappy verizon plan. This gives us unlimited data use -- read Internet in your pocket!! Anyway, for tech whores this seems like a bargain -- but for people with less whorish ways, maybe not so much. (In our case we will be covering the new bill by bundling our home phone/cable/dsl and applying the savings to the wireless. Our communications budget -- which admittedly, seems high to non-whores -- remains the same) Our super fun budget? Way expanded.

ps -- who's iPhone is that?
While you tech whores were playing with your new toys, I've spent the past week deep into research and writing gobs of stuff on ungodly deadlines involving the intersection between technologies. I've fallen asleep with various sections of chapter 47 of the United States Code trying to fit new tech into old catagories all week. right now I'm ready to go stone age to get away from it.
are you all up in the grill of the communications decency act? what's the question?
