Polls are closing

With just a few minutes left to vote, results of the first M&M Presidential Poll are in.

It looks like our readers overwhelmingly believe Hillary Clinton will be the next president -- she outpolled the nearest competitor, Republican Fred Thompson, by a margin on 3 to 1. Of course by "margin" I mean actual votes. It's not, like, 1,860 to 620, it's 3 votes to 1. There was one additional vote for "other Democrat," by which who knows whom our pollee meant. Dennis Kucinich?

In any event, this poll was presented as an invitation to predict who the next prez would be, not to express personal choice. So we really don't know what our readers' preference is.
