We'll be Tivo'ing this afternoon's Republican debate to watch later and assess what impact Fred Thompson is having on the race. The GOP side is much harder to call than the Democrats, but my guess is that this race is Mitt Romney's to lose. I don't see Rudy playing among the hard-R voters, McCain's done and I don't think Fred's heart is in it.
Says the NYT: Katharine Q. Seelye will be live-blogging the the G.O.P. debate in Dearborn, Mich. The event will be carried live on CNBC at 4 p.m. and on msnbc.com. MSNBC will rebroadcast the debate at 9 p.m. (Times are Eastern.)
Meanwhile, if you missed "Saturday Night Live" check out this Thompson bit, via YouTube. Pretty good.

I wasn't able to get this to work, I guess Janet's computer is just too slow, I will try it when I get home, I love this guy. No, not Thompson, the SNL guy.
