Unfortunately, we're not there anymore.
After a wonderful week with great friends, great food, interesting work for Michelle and some profitable poker for me, we're back in Seattle. Windy, rainy and 62 is the forecast here today.
I can't compete with Michelle's awesome slide shows, but here are a couple of leftover photos I took last week and never got around to posting.
The cool view from our otherwise suck room -- The Hammer, Hammer The -- at the downtown Westin Bonaventure.
Pretty Michelle driving in LA.
Michelle and our cool friend Greg when he met us for lunch last Saturday at the Farmer's Market.
Michelley at the Market.
Our old house in LA. When they sold our cool place in Belmont Shore out from under us, we moved to Hollywood -- the trendy area of Melrose and Fairfax, actually -- and sublet half of this duplex on Orange Grove (my all-time favorite street name) from this cool chick who was going to Europe for a few months.
When Blossom returned from Europe we rented this cute little bungalow just a block up the street. I was shocked to find they had constructed this enormous hedge and gate around the house. Too bad. It was really nice-looking from the street.
...
In true M&M fashion Michelle and I stayed up late last night after we got home, had a couple of drinks and some excellent artichoke-tomato-on-toast snick-snacks, and caught up on a couple of Tivo'd shows from last week.
As Sinatra put it, it's nice to go traveling, but it's oh so nice to come home.
Today we're feeling the effects a bit though. Michelle got up once, felt bad and went back to bed. I'm halfway glancing at the paper, half-watching the Seahawks get their butts kicked by the Steelers. Thinking about a second cup of coffee.
Maybe later today, after I recover fully, I'll take a shower and then another spin through last week's posts and photos.

nice pix baby!
yeah -- I was thinking, y'all have that great mattress -- it's always good to be back in your own bed, but it's even better when you have a good bed to go back to ... I really want one -- maybe by President's Day ....
